Ingredients

1 C Flour

1 Cup Cornmeal

½ tsp Salt

½ Cup or 1 Stick Butter

½ C Granulated Sugar

2 Eggs

1 C Milk

1 Tbl Baking Powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees. Prepare a baking pan with grease.

  2. Mix Cornmeal, flour, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Melt butter (using microwave, or skillet), remove from heat.

  4. Add Sugar to Butter and stir until mixed.

  5. Add eggs to butter/sugar mixture and beat thoroughly.

  6. Combine milk and Baking powder together, mix. Then add to butter mixture.

  7. Slowly add cornmeal/flour mixture to butter mixture. There should be minor clumps remaining.

  8. Pour into greased pan.

  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Check the center with a toothpick until it comes out clean.
