Chocolate Krinkle Cookies
Yield: 18 Cookies
½ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
¼ Cup Powdered Sugar
In a medium bowl, combine cocoa powder, white sugar, and vegetable oil.
Beat eggs in one at a time until the egg is combined.
Add vanilla and mix.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir flour mixture into cocoa mixture.
Cover the cookie dough and chill for at least four hours. Overnight is fine too.
Once cookies are chilled, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper or grease.
Use a cookie scoop or spoon to gather some dough. Roll them into 1-inch balls.
Dust the cookies with powdered sugar.
Bake in oven for 12-15 minutes.
Let cookies stand for 1-2 minutes before removing from baking sheet. This will allow for residual cooking and a small amount of cooling before moving the cookies.
