1 lb Ground Beef (Turkey, Chicken, or Pork)
¾ Cup Water
1 Tbl Chili Powder
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Cayenne Powder
4 Tortillas – See Recipe
1Cups Lettuce (Shredded)
1 Cup Cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack)
¼ Cup Tomatoes – Diced
¼ Cup Onions – Diced
Sour Cream (As Needed)
Salsa (as Needed) – See Recipe
½ Cup Kidney or Black Beans
¼ Cup Black Olives - Sliced
In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until brown, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
Add Water, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Optional: Kidney or black Beans
Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes until water begins to evaporate.
Remove from burner and cool.
On Tortillas, scoop ground beef on it. Sprinkle cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, olives (optional). As much as desired.
Top with sour cream or salsa.
Notes: You can make your own tortillas and salsa. Spices can be added as needed or wanted. Feel free to mix and match.
Nutrition: Use ground turkey or chicken, or fish for leaner meats and less fat.
